I know it has been awhile since I have done a hot list- mainly because I don't buy TV Guide regularly. Well, here are the list of shows that I want to catch this week that made to the list.

This past week was the start of the American Idol semi-finals. As I watched the contestants perform I noticed that some made a common mistake. That mistake was the act of trying to show another musical side of themselves. The problem is it is too soon, they shouldn't do that until the finals. And really at this point it is kind of pointless because we haven't really heard a lot from them until now. They need to stick with what the judges liked about them that brought them as far as they are now so we, the home audience, will have the opportunity to see it as well. The judges did say they wanted them to take risks, and they should take risks but they should "stick to what they do best" as the judges reiterated.

On a side note I would like to say that I pretty much agreed with who went home. But there was one contestant that I did disagree with leaving and that was Miss Stevie Scott. And yes I did vote for her. I wasn't really surprised that she went home because every time I called I got through but it still is a disappointment.

I am finally back and ready to blog once again. I meant to return sooner but just never got around to coming back. I am very excited that a new year is here and can't wait to see what will happen. If you have been here before you probably noticed that I have a new layout and new name. I hope you like the changes.

For the past 2 months I have been watching CBS’ NUMB3RS. I like the show but for some reason I sometimes forget about it coming on. Fortunately I flip through channels and come across it for at least the last half. I will be honest this doesn’t happen all the time, it only happened three times. I think maybe it is because it is on Fridays. But I have realized that there are some things that are good but forgettable. One of the musical artists that I fit into this category is Michelle Branch. I like her and think she if very talented but when I have the opportunity to buy music cds I always forget to try to pick up her album. But to be honest buying music has always been tougher for me because I love music so much and there are so many cds I want but I don’t have enough money. Well, anyways, I am hoping that someday NUMB3RS won’t be so forgetful.

This past weekend a bought the first season box set of Everwood. I bought because my local wal-mart was having a sale on TV box sets- $20. Anyways I went home and for 3 days straight I watching it. While watching I realized that a fell in love with the show all over again! I also realized a few things that I didn’t at the time. One of which was that the whole season was centered around the character Colin Hart and Emily Vancamp wore the one long-sleeved shirt like 5 episodes. I also had forgotten how cute Gregory Smith was back then, not that he is bad looking now- he is hot now. I can’t wait to get the second season’s box set to continue the adventure.
